Crab rolls and cocktails....what better way to enjoy the city.
Ate at Fish in Sausalito, cocktails at Horizon's, sailboats were out, weather was beautiful, and the company...awesome.

Beautiful day in January so Rick and I decide to take a drive, top down, with the intent to visit Berkeley. Well, as you can see we ended up in San Francisco. Missed the last exit and ended up on the Bay Bridge. Saw some hippies on Haight, a lady in candy cane knee highs in Union Square, and a guy trying to get discovered with his guitar on Market. After a few hours of people watching, we decide to head back home. A nice little Saturday!

Ladies Night!!! What a fun and entertaining night!
First stop....happy hour at Embassy Suites. Knowing the bartender can be dangerous.
Second stop....bar/lounge in Embassy Suites which was filled with older ladies (about 4 of them) getting down on the dance floor. Maryanne begins the evening by working the side bar/pole.
Third stop.....Bar in San Mateo to watch an 80's cover band, Superbad. Maryanne, kept the entertainment going with a CATS rendition on stage with the band. (picture posted on Facebook).
Fourth stop.....back to the hotel room to recover from the evening.
It was a very fun night with my girls!!!

On this MLK holiday...spent the afternoon with my mom shopping and chatting! Just when I thought my bday celebration was over...it continues! My mom bought me this lovely Coach purse and lovely Coach sunglasses. Love, love, love them! Thanks mom!!
Then came home to the smell of bar-b-que. Mmmm...mmmm....MMMMMM! Ricky made some awesome chicken tacos with a chipotle salsa. AAAA...mazing!

Love the Police Volunteer in Vegas...I feel very safe walking the streets now.
After having the police volunteer escort us safely across the bridge, we decided to go back to the Cosmopolitan hotel and hit the tables! Played 3 card poker for my first time...and what a great first time it was. Was entertained and complimented by several drunk (to be nice) fellows, with Ricky standing right behind me. Apparently I have some spectacular first molars (one was an orthodontist), as well as some perfect teeth. The ortho asks Ricky "Do you ever notice how great her smile is?" Ricky goes: "Oh yeah, every now and then." haha. I won a few hands and moved onto the blackjack tables where we stayed for about 3 hours and endless Cosmos! With the winnings from blackjack we enjoyed ourselves some fantastic Seabass and Lobster tail. Yummy!

Saw Santana live at the Hard Rock Hotel in Vegas. What an awesome show!
Afterward we enjoyed the Vegas nightlife at the Cosmopolitan hotel with my prima, Christina. That hotel is so amazing, very chic! Loved it!

Spent the evening with our old roomies, my Bro & Arlen, and was entertained by their new dog Rudy. And let me tell you this 2 lb dog is one fast runningback! He can carry that football all over the house!
In world news today, New Zodiac Signs...my entire life is turned upside down. I am no longer a Capricorn?!?!?! I am now a Sagittarius! A half man half horse?!?! WHAT?! I am neither a man nor a horse....this is absurd! That will not look good next to my Capricorn tattoo....gotta think about this one!

While I had to force myself up (which does not get any easier as you get older, in fact, it gets harder) to go to work...it was nice to go into my office with this present waiting for me from my manager. The rest of the day consisted of jamming to pandora in my office, phone calls from family and friends, my little cousins singing Happy Birthday to me, and then dinner and cocktails with my buff and beau. I am one lucky girl!

During the day got a new hair-do, went shopping, and got all dolled up for my bday celebration!! The family met me at Cascal for dinner...flamenco inspired music band, pitchers of sangria, tapas, and made my birthday wish as I blew out the candle off some amazing flan! After dinner...met my friends at Carlos Club and danced the night away. And surprise guest who joined us....my mother! what a trooper! :-) Gotta love that woman! Overall.....a great way to bring in my 26 years of life!

Great start to my bday weekend...first started with Wine Fridays at work. Yes, now every Friday, wine cocktail hour to wrap up the week. Gotta love the drug company! Surprise CRAB FEAST hosted by mom!!!! Good to eat but not fun to buy. The site of fish getting their heads chopped off and hundreds of crab crawling to save their life and the smell in Pacific Super....not my cup of tea. But with a little lemon and butter....does sure taste deeee...lish!!
