Ricky worked his magic in the kitchen again tonight! End entree: Chile relleno stuffed with shrimp and 3 cheeses placed on top of Spanish rice. Side dish: On top of a cabbage salad mixture, biscuit topped with elote. Just simply delicious and impressive!!! I am one lucky woman!

After waking up with a sore back and a sore neck, we decided to take advantage of the Memorial Day sales and bought a new mattress!!! Definitely an adultish thing to do! After paying for the mattress I calculated what I could have bought...6 pairs of shoes and 3 dresses! *Sigh*

After visiting some not so nice, disgusting, and then a beautiful open house, we took a lunch break and watched the Giants beat the A's! How do you show an open house, while 2 of the current occupants are hanging around in the house and cleary not ready to leave their home??? The house smelt and was unclean, not a great sales pitch!

Spent the day with 2 of my favorite people today, my mom and Ricky, just in case the rapture were to come! But it didn't so I can continue my blog! We went on a bus tour that Ricky was hosting and checked out some homes for sale. After 2 ours of house hunting, we deserved a nice crisp glass of wine, so ended up at Rock Bottom Brewery. And a nice cold glass of wine it was!

Worked at the SF office today and UCSF was having their Wednesday Farmer's Market. There were stations of homemade pastas, orchids, fresh salmon, lots of veggies, and the tempting station....freshly popped Kettle Korn.

My little cousin Andre celebreated his 1st Communion today. So proud of him!

Then later in the evening, I joined a new Wine Club at Fortino Winery in Gilroy! I had to...the wine was amazing! Hopefully wasn't only amazing because I hadn't had wine in over a month! Well....we'll find out next shipment! :-)

And then later later in the evening, my front door is visible, a few more steps away and I'm home, and then, BAM, face flat on the floor! Bad rug burn on my knee! I did good all night without falling....but no, never fails!

My mom's 2nd patient for the day. She found this poor little birdie on the driveway...Dr. Doolittle (aka Mom) decided to feed it oatmeal, dried fruits, and Holy Water. 

And for me....nothing significant, thank goodness, but more meds, continue diet (no drinks), and just wait it out. I need a better answer than this! I am done done done done with this pain! I could use a cocktail right about now!

Not a good day....running fevers, chills, and stomach pains!  Went to the doctor earlier today and scheduled a procedure for tomorrow. Hopefully after it, they figure out when I can drink again....I mean...why I am having stomach pains for a month now!
