Last day of Jury Duty.....trial finally ended, whoo hoo!!! 

To thank us for our time, we were taken out to lunch by the Sheriff. Went to this Vietnamese Restuarant in Oakland near the court house. This restuarant gave me nothing but surprises. First our menu was especially created for us Jury, next an awesome Carrot soup, which I had never had or seen, and lastly, the best for last, a heated toilet seat with rear and front option cleansing! I gotta get me one of these!

First time meeting Ricky's BFF. As you can see Rick was his protector back in the day. 

Went to a comedy club and then to a bar named Whiskey's. Yes we were in the country! Bar filled with smoke, cigarette vending machine in the corner, dart boards and billiards in the back. Good times!

Dinner with some friends tonight at this amazing house they were house-sitting. This house had a Sauna, steam room, ,massage room, huge TV room with movie posters around the room (which we thought was there theater room) but oh no, the next room had a huge projector screen with 2 rows of individual recliners with there own blankets and pillows. Also in the room, a candy bar! Just like the theaters! They had a wine cellar, hot tub, huge grill which also had a beer tap! And last but definitely not least, a helicopter pad! All this in Hayward!

Dinner with the girls tonight, Nicole & Nikki! Had a cocktail or two in honor of my dad's birthday. New favorite happy hour restaurant...Macaroni Grill!! $2.99 small plate meals and very very good wine options! 3pm to close M-F....can't go wrong with that! Thanks Nikki for introducing me to this fine dining! :-)

Today, spent the day in the East Bay, driving around, and ate at Mi Cocina...awesome Mexican restaurant. Then spent the evening lounging watching poor Mickey get demolished.

Saw a rainbow on my drive to the courthouse for Jury Duty today...shortly after got caught in a hail storm which was a forecast to my day at court! What a looooooong process this has been....finally got a selection of jurors and but of course I got selected. The very last person to get called up and questioned. Just my luck! I finally get to the end of the rainbow and find nothing but an angry old man who selected me to be one of his jurors.

I had the intention of cooking my valentine Dinner, but when I got home, I got to do nothing but relax! It was a wonderful wonderful evening. Ricky ended up making the dinner....Filet Mignon with a creamy garlic shrimp sauce. It was sooo yummy!
